Since our last update in December, 2024 has kicked off to a great start for Millrose. "Kicked off" being a good place to start with our update, as football season has kept us busy with digiboard and screen maintenance, ensuring everything runs smoothly during games...like tonight's Ipswich Town vs Rotherham. We'll be pitch-side enjoying the atmosphere whilst also ensuring all advertising is running perfectly.
We've been working on commercial Cat6 installations around Cambridge too, fibre projects on a large scale agricultural site in Cambridgeshire, emergency fibre repair at a business park in Hertfordshire, an MOD site Cat6 installation and Fluke testing project in Suffolk, Cat6 network installation and testing at a (very lovely) pub in Suffolk, a fibre and copper installation, termination and testing project to modular buildings at an energy farm in Norfolk, and installing WiFi solutions in large residential properties across Cambridgeshire where a BT router simply doesn't cut it for internet coverage. We've also seen an increased demand for CCTV services too.
Looking ahead, summer festivals and events are already coming in, with bookings for extensive outdoor data cabling. These are always a highlight of our year as we love being part of the buzz and working outside in the sunshine is always a bonus! Additionally, we're involved in fibre and copper installations across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, and other exciting and varied projects - watch this space!
Community involvement remains a priority for us this year. We're proud to support initiatives like The Ely Hero Awards and youth theatre group, while also engaging with schools to educate students about Data Engineering and offering mock interviews to help young people take the first steps in their careers. It's with thanks to our clients keeping us busy that we can support initiatives like this to give back to the community.
