Merry Christmas from Millrose!
Millrose has certainly has a very busy 2022 and we are all looking forward to a much deserved rest over the Christmas break.
We've installed thousands of metres of copper and fibre cabling for clients all over the region including pubs, stately homes, MOD sites, carehomes, commercial premises, festivals, a country retreat, football clubs and Greene King pub chain amongst many others. We've pulled, spliced, terminated, tested and surveyed. We continued to work with existing clients and delighted to welcome new ones too.
We've also this year been very actively involved with local community including sponsoring the Ely Hero Awards, Youths Acts Up, Littleport Fun Day, and Ely Rotary. And, we have taken part in careers shows at Ely Cathedral, Ely College, Littleport and East Cambridgeshire Academy, and Witchford Village College - demonstrating data cabling and fibre optic technology, talking to students of all ages about careers as a data engineer, and promoting apprenticeships.
Speaking of apprenticeships, our apprentice Zach is nearing the end of his course and aims to be fully fledged by the end of January 2023. Zach has worked very hard for us this year and learnt a phenomenal amount; we are very proud of his progress both on the job and through our training provider, VQ Solutions.
Thanks very much to all our clients for keeping us very busy on 2022. We'll be closing on 23rd December for a festive break and back again on January 3rd. We are now taking bookings for 2023, so please get in touch if you have a network infrastructure project in mind.
